POSITION: Hospitalist Physicians (multiple openings) Full-time - 40 hrs/wk.
DUTIES:
Hospitalist Physicians provide the following professional medical health care duties and serves as the physician for hospitalized patients: perform physical examination; order test and laboratory work; diagnose and treat disease, injuries, and illnesses; determine the nature and extent of the disease, injury, or illness; interpret laboratory results; prescribe medication; provide medical clearance prior to surgery; provide timely notification to primary physicians regarding admission, diagnosis, and discharge.
REQUIREMENTS:
Medical Degree (MD) or foreign equivalent, Eligible for state medical license; Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/E) in Internal or Family Medicine.
