Mount Sinai Medical Center is seeking a Medical Director to lead our brand new PACE Medical Center in Hialeah, FL. The Medical Director will serve as the primary care physician for participants enrolled in the PACE program. Additionally this individual will provide clinical leadership for the care and treatment of participants, managing the day to day operations of the center and overseeing all quality improvement initiatives. The Medical Director will serve as liaison between the program and community physicians, as well as with others engaged in health care services for our participants. We are specifically interested in candidates that have a background working with geriatric patients in a nursing facility – level of care. 

Qualifications:

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school
  • Board Certified/Eligible in Internal Medicine
  • Fellowship training in geriatrics preferred
  • State of Florida medical license
  • At least 3 years’ experience as a medical doctor preferred
  • Knowledge and experience in palliative medical practice and symptom management
  • Excellent communication skills with participants/families/staff and community contacts
  • Bilingual English/Spanish - preferred
