Interventional Pain Management Opportunity Less than one Hour from Chicago

Interventional Pain Management Physician 

Riverside Medical Center is a 314-bed Level II Trauma hospital located less than one hour south of Chicago. As the only hospital in Illinois to receive both Distinguished Hospital for Clinical Excellence and Outstanding Patient Experience Awards, Riverside Healthcare and the Riverside Medical Group continue to shape the future of medicine in the region. 

We are actively recruiting an Interventional Pain Management Physician. Qualified candidates must have completed or currently completing an ACGME accredited fellowship in Pain Medicine. We prefer physicians who are boarded or board eligible in both Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and Pain Medicine.

This is a 100% outpatient interventional non-opioid focused, no-call practice. Candidates can expect a fully staffed and equipped new state-of-the-art Ortho-Spine clinic, full access to equipment and procedure suites. Additionally, there is a large primary care base and a well-established neuro-spine practice serving as a strong referral base.

In addition to providing care on an out-patient basis (including new consultations, follow-ups and performance of procedures/injections, successful physicians in the practice are expected to:

  • Interpret and explain imaging and test results
  • Demonstrate familiarity and/or proficiency in at minimum the following procedures/injections:Epidural steroid injectionsRadiofrequency ablationsPeripheral nerve blocks 
  • Peripheral joint injections
  • Sacroiliac joint injections
  • Facet joint injections
  • See an average volume of at least 16 patients/day
  • Collaborate with other providers and leadership to uphold the organizational mission and maintain a comprehensive approach to care.
