Highlights
Community Health Network seeks a BE/BC Addiction Medicine physician (IM, FM, Peds or other) for a unique opportunity to become a core faculty member for our expanding addiction medicine fellowship program. Established in 2020, the ACGME-accredited primary care-based fellowship aims to train physicians to function as exemplary clinicians, teachers and managers of healthcare resources.  The program has one trainee per year currently, but is approved for 4 per year, so expansion of faculty is needed.  Our objective is for our graduates to become competent and ethical professionals possessing sound clinical judgment, requisite skills and a high order of knowledge about the treatment and prevention of all addiction medicine disorders and common co-occurring illnesses.   This role offers flexibility in a variety of practice setting options.  Previous faculty/teaching experience preferred.

· Single EMR (EPIC) 

· One-year fellowship offering a broad array of training locations, including inpatient treatment in a behavioral health and psychiatric settings, outpatient family medicine and psychiatric MAT programs, MAT in pregnancy and adolescent treatment

About Community Health Network Academic Affairs:
In 2012, the network became an independent sponsoring institution of graduate medical education under the ACGME. Affiliated with Marian University College of Osteopathic Medicine and Indiana University School of Medicine, Community sponsors graduate medical education in a variety of specialties, including family medicine (ACGME, AOA), podiatry, psychiatry and hospitalists, sports medicine, and addiction medicine fellowships.

Physicians who are core faculty will work with the fellowship program as their primary activity, with delivery of clinical care done primarily with residents and students. Community Health Network is Central Indiana’s largest provider of behavioral health services, through Gallahue Mental Health Center, the inpatient pavilion, Fairbanks Hospital and other sites.

The facilities of the network and patient population are ideal for a rich educational experience for fellows in a variety of settings. Core faculty work as a team to meet the educational program and fellow needs during their training, while helping to develop a curriculum for the fellowship program.

Licensure & Certification
Certification in addiction medicine or addiction psychiatry required; BE/BC in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, preferred; General Psychiatry and eligible for medical licensure in Indiana.
